The Business Cards Augmented service provided by Black Lions Apps, LLC has been discontinued as of 2024-02-01.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our many customers. The two root causes of the discontinuation are:

Google is discontinuing the dynamic links service it has been providing freely. Dynamic links form one of the backbones of our service. Without it, we cannot get the data for a card into your device. There are some other options out there, but most were not robust enough, and those with pricing options were not feasible.

The second cause was the fiasco the Unity Game engine created when seeking to charge per-install of apps that use its runtime engine. Such a move made it financially impossible for us to operate, and though the fee has been reduced or rolled back depending on certain factors, the gist of the matter is we do not trust Unity anymore!

All data has been erased from the servers, and those customers with active subscriptions have been refunded.
